At Ithaca Festival, we believe that families that flow together grow together! We know that it is important to have quality time to nurture and strengthen the family bond, so we work hard to provide fun and educational programs that inspire adults and children alike. Simply put, there is always something to discover for all ages and interests at I-Fest!
During the weekend, enjoy both of our Family Fun Zones on the Commons and at Stewart Park! Play in bouncy rooms or race through the challenge course. Ride the Carousel, make arts and crafts, enjoy great street theatre, book readings, and benefit from exciting activities facilitated by area youth and cultural organizations, and more!
Got a super active family? Ride the Cyclovia bike path together and discover our city on wheels. Grab your roller skates and whip around our no traffic area at the park. Got a passion for sport? You'll find fun on the grass tailored to your child's favorite activities, like Frisbee, soccer and tag (to name a few). And don’t forget to join in on Circus Eccentrithaca, face painting, and the dancing good time we have to great live music!
Please review both of our grounds maps for Family Fun Zone locations and make sure to stop by the various festival exhibitors who will be presenting associated materials and activities. For example, on Sunday afternoon, the Ithaca Youth Bureau will be hosting a 60th Anniversary “birthday party” complete with free cake and kids games in the Large Pavilion – please stop by and enjoy the festivity!
