Meet the driving force behind every Ithaca Festival since 1977: an energetic, diligent, fun-loving crew of do-it-all volunteers. We are now looking to fill all positions for the following volunteer crews:
Kids Activities
Monitor the smallest festivalgoers at children activity stations. Supervise games, crafts, and other fun-filled projects.
Parade Patrol
Expert bicyclists wanted for crowd control. Ensure crowd safety and setup the kick-off to Ithaca's most popular summer celebration.
Stage Emcee
Experience is preferred, but not necessary. Introduce
Festival Merchandise Booths
Become a part of our long-standing history: sell traditional t-shirts and
buttons featuring
Office Help
For the Ithaca Festival staff, May is crackdown time. Assist our staff in the office by answering phones, stuffing envelopes, making signs, and other essential last minute details!
Tech Crew
Make the Ithaca Festival happen! Setup stage space, help lift tables and chairs, and post informative signs.
Compost,Trash & Recycling Crew
Guide waste producing festivalgoers to the trash stations while keeping Festival grounds both clean and environmentally friendly. Be prepared to answer infamous trash questions, such as, but not limited to, “can I compost this?” Earn an awesome t-shirt for helping us reduce our waste!
CAUTION: Being a Festival volunteer can cause laughter, bursts of good will, and unbearable lightness of being.
