Ithaca Festival offers a full range of options for enjoying local food and beverage at our event. As a matter of fact, nearly 100% of our vendors are area restaurants, caterers and food producers who graciously put in their extra time and energy to serve I-Fest.
To acknowledge the excellent cooking talent and super fresh produce available to us, we have taken additional steps to develop a heightened awareness and appreciation for their wonderful contribution to our community's renowned cuisine.
A Taste of Tompkins at Ithaca Festival is a new component of our program that aims to further showcase our region's culinary reputation to the world. By gathering inspired chefs, brew masters and vintners together with regional farmers and Festival-goers, we can all celebrate the rich traditions that influence and inspire our distinctive Finger Lakes palate.
At this year's Taste, enjoy the opportunity to talk to local food producers and taste the freshest products being introduced into the local market. Learn from speakers who are top experts on health and nutrition and from presenters who inspire respect for the environment. Experience wines from our regional wineries paired with food from local restaurants.
We fully enjoy working toward our mission of recognizing this great community. The Festival already has a history of showcasing the best talent in the areas of art, craft, music, performance, self-expression and fun. Now is the time to begin working on our display of love for the fine food, beer and wine of this abundant region!
Please take time to enjoy the festival feast offered by the following vendors (listed below), visit the Farmers Market on the waterfront, relax with a Sunday Brunch on the Commons, patronize our great food establishments in and around the City, and don’t forget to compost your waste – we’re watching!
